Knock Support
Account and access
Sign in with the username and password you registered with. Password reset isn't self-service yet — email [SUPPORT EMAIL] with your username and we'll help you regain access.
Adding a friend
Open People and add someone by their exact username, or scan their Knock Code (their personal QR code, found on their profile). Knock does not search or list other users, and never asks for your contact list.
Notifications
Notifications show generic text (like "New message") unless you turn on Show names in Settings → Notifications. If you're not receiving them, check that notifications are allowed for Knock in your phone's system settings, and that they're enabled in Knock's own Settings → Notifications.
Messages not sending
Knock retries automatically when your connection comes back. A message marked Sent was durably received by the server; Delivered means a friend's device has it. If a message shows Failed, tap it to retry, or check your connection. Messages are never sent unencrypted — if encryption isn't available, Knock will tell you rather than send anyway.

Report a problem
If you're testing through TestFlight, you can send feedback directly from the TestFlight app (screenshot and all). You can also email us at [SUPPORT EMAIL].
Delete your account
In-app account deletion isn't available yet. To delete your account today, email [SUPPORT EMAIL] with your Knock username. Because deleting an account is irreversible, we'll confirm you're the account holder before we proceed. Deleting your account removes your username, password and encryption keys from our server; it cannot remove copies of messages you already sent that a friend's device already received, the same way we could never read them in the first place.
